Brett is MediaVision’s Director of Search - a title that is thoroughly deserved. Having started out as a copywriter at MediaVision more than 5 years ago, Brett quickly developed into a serious force to be reckoned with within the search marketing ranks of the UK and South Africa. Brett lives for SEO and is very much the backbone of the MediaVision way of doing things.
Brett completed a course in Microsoft Systems Engineering and started gaining work experience as an IT support engineer, moving up the ranks to management before leaving his prior company and joining MediaVision.
Brett’s current skill-set is that of a complete search marketing all-rounder, heading up both the PPC and Organic Search Marketing branches of the business. Constantly listening out for developments within the SEO and PPC industries, he is also MediaVision’s ear on the ground, keeping the rest of the team updated with the latest developments in search marketing.
In addition to being Director of Search, Brett is responsible for many of the internal processes and procedures that MediaVision currently follows; having researched, written and implemented these processes almost single handedly. Without Brett’s brilliant problem solving abilities and keen eye for the smallest of details, MediaVision would not be able to produce the high quality of work that sets us apart from our competitors.
After Hours Interests and Hobbies:
Brett’s analytical and extremely logical way of looking at things is what makes him a truly interesting person to converse with; be it about work, sport, politics or any other given topic. His passions lie in gadgets, international news, music, photography, Foosball (yes, Foosball) and of course – search engine marketing. An extremely hard working individual, loyal to the core and funny in a way that will constantly have you in stitches – MediaVision wouldn’t be where they are today without Brett’s all-round personality and work ethic.
