Julia Laubscher
Her official work title might be “Copywriter”, but since Julia joined MediaVision, her skills have expanded to assisting with SEO work as well as the odd bit of web design that needs to be carried out from time to time on clients’ websites. Voted the “Writers’ writer” by her colleagues, Julia has proven to be an invaluable asset to the copywriting team and MediaVision as a whole.
Upon finishing school, Julia went on to complete a course in graphic design, which she put into practice when she worked at an E-learning company for three years. During this time it became apparent that despite a liking for graphics and design, she was more passionate and powerful with words. It was for this very reason that Julia decided to complete a copywriting diploma and enter the world of freelance copywriting. After a stint as a freelancer, Julia applied for a copywriting post at MediaVision in 2010 and we snapped her up; a decision that has resulted in many a happy client.
After Hours Interests and Hobbies:
It has to be said that Julia, aka Julz, is by far the quietest member of the MediaVision staff. But don’t let this fool you as her wicked wit and sharp sense of humour will have you in stitches before you know it.
An animal lover at heart, Julz enjoys spending her spare time working as a volunteer at the aquarium where she helps take care of the penguins. This is one of her true passions and a great opportunity for her to express her kind and gentle nature that we’ve come to know and love at MediaVision.
