Brent Fisher

MediaVision Graphic Designer

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I grew up in Cape Town and studied at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). After graduating, I worked in a few different agencies and always found myself leaning towards the digital side of design. Even though I’m addicted to doodles, I don’t like being constricted to paper. I love how fast the digital world moves and at the beginning of my career I literally watched it expand and take over the industry. I saw the gap in the market so I embraced digital design completely – it’s been awesome because I love problem solving, learning new things and being creative.

What previous experience do you have in the digital industry?

I’ve worked on digital campaigns for local and international brands. Each one has been totally different from the last which is always the most important thing to me, since I love variety.

What is your role at MediaVision?

I’m a Graphic Designer and I work on anything and everything that comes my way.

Known in the office for: my coffee addiction
Most likely to be found: in a bar, having a beer and watching a Liverpool game.
Bucket list items include: being in a bar, having a beer and watching a Liverpool game…IN Liverpool! Joining an MMA fight club and kicking ass.
Party trick: too drunk to remember…
Most embarrassing moment: I can’t say – it might be illegal in some countries.
Favourite band/song: Hells Bells by ACDC, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin and Parents by Budgie. Basically any band where the lead guitarist seems to be possessed by a musical demon, preferably from the 70’s.
One interesting fact about you: I see green numbers flashing past my face every now and then.
Favourite movie/TV show: “The One”… if you understand this, then we have something in common.
