Firefox has finally released a “hotly anticipated” new tool. It`s something that has been in the pipelines for a while now – a Firefox Social Media Extension toolbar!

This new toolbar allows the users to create powerful social media accounts and thus an opportunity to be the first to submit stories to four of the top social sites, which currently include: Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon and del.icio.us.

The tool has two settings: manual and automatic. Manual pulls all info from the page that you`re on. It`s important to ensure you are on the correct article/blog post page URL. When you hit Manuel it shows you if that story has already been submitted and if it has, how many votes it has received. This way you can always be the first to submit a new story. From here all you need to do is click the icon and fill out the submission page and submit. Done!

The best advantage about this tool is that when you are browsing these social sites, you will see these icons next to each story with its submission information. You will be able to see every story`s detail without having to visit the story. Quite handy isn`t it?

Can`t wait for Sphinn to jump on the bandwagon…
