Google`s name-calling upsets legit SEOs

It looks like Google have pulled out some contradictory rabbits from their own black hat. They accuse others of following ‘black hat` tactics, while it appears they are following similar procedures themselves. Should we believe everything they say? It appears that soon, SEO specialists will have to change their job title just to stay under the radar of Google`s incongruent accusations.
They appear to have set these rules and guidelines for online marketers and the entire industry to follow, especially when gathering backlinks, and then left evidence of being the biggest culprits by not obeying their own rules. Google have been bartering off backlinks to their own blog, an act which they say is ‘not best practice`. So is the ground that they are setting for us all that trustworthy?
However, it appears that only individual SEOs are being “punished” for this. The larger online organisations and corporate groups seem to be reaping the benefits of all the work that is put in by the little guys. Some SEO specialists have already hinted that in order for up and coming SEO practitioners to get ahead in today`s search marketing field, they should call themselves by another name.
Maybe ‘investigative search engine architect` or some other arbitrary name that may confuse Google into thinking they are not worth monitoring, and ultimately punishing. Maybe something as simple as ‘online marketer` will curb the devastating effects of Google`s whip. As one SEOBook.com reader commented on the topic, “I think Google firmly believe in keeping the goal posts in motion and the penalties inconsistent so that we all keep guessing about what is deemed in breach of Google`s webmaster guidelines.”
So by the look of it, your next steps should be to change your professional tag and keep your eyes open for the Google spies who may just oust you by throwing your site off the first page, regardless of the fact that they themselves are doing exactly what they are punishing you for.
Where`s the fairness in that?
